Supporting wellbeing, balance and meaningful change
for over 15 years

Individual journeys because everyone's life, health and challenges are different
You're keeping everything together on the outside. But inside, something is starting to slip.
I work with people who are quietly stretched — those who appear capable and steady to the world, but privately feel depleted, overwhelmed, or simply not quite themselves. Whether it's work, relationships, health, or life transitions, if that's you, you've come to the right place.

Everyone’s path is unique.
Support works best when it starts
where you are,
not where you’re expected to be.
Support that meets you where you are
I offer one-to-one coaching that is unhurried, genuinely personal, and grounded in over twenty years of real experience. Together, we slow down, take stock, and work out what you actually need — not what a checklist says you should need.
My approach recognises that wellbeing isn't just one thing. It's your sleep, your work, your relationships, your sense of purpose, your body. We look at all of it, gently and at your pace.
I've spent much of my career working with people in the most difficult of circumstances — those who left things too long before asking for help. That's why I believe so strongly in early support. You don't have to be in crisis to deserve care.

Why I do this work
I came to this work through a long and winding path. Starting as a trained pattern cutter running my own dressmaking and alterations business, then studied psychology at degree level. While studying and after, I worked with people navigating significant life challenges and health difficulties at Headway — as a researcher, team member, and trustee. I was also a trustee with the dyspraxia foundation, a neurodiversity charity. That early experience showed me how quickly change can happen when someone's properly supported.
After my master's in occupational psychology, I spent years supporting people to move forward from long-term sickness absence, navigate workplace challenges, and make career changes. I've seen how transformative support can be — how it builds resilience, restores confidence, and helps people thrive again. And I've been through my own challenging times too. All of that shapes the way I work.
I believe no one should have to keep coping on the outside while quietly unravelling inside.
As a coaching psychologist with over twenty years of experience and 20,000+ hours of practice, I bring depth and real understanding to this work.

What clients have said
"I came to coaching feeling out of balance with many things happening at once.
Debbie's calm, steady approach brought clarity and helped me organise my thoughts.
Over time, my confidence grew, I became better able to focus on my own wellbeing, and moved from feeling overwhelmed to feeling clearer and more in control.
I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing calm, thoughtful support during times of pressure and change."
LR, retired retail manager and published author
"I felt in a real rut - tired, low on energy, not sleeping well, and struggling to follow through on even simple things.
I knew what I wanted to change, but couldn't seem to do it.
Working with Debbie, I started to see that I did have control over my choices, and my habits began to change.
I now have more energy, sleep better, and feel much more like myself again. I'd really recommend Debbie to anyone who feels stuck but isn't sure how to move forward."
KB, Lead People Partner
"Debbie's style is both very focused and wonderfully gentle — it felt surprisingly easy not only to identify and prioritise targets, but to actually achieve them.
There is a real sense of trust and understanding, while still preserving my own sense of responsibility. My achievements felt like they were mine, while feeling that Debbie really understood how much they meant to me.
'Ive developed new habits that feel sustainable — my clothes fit better and my eating habits have changed.
Debbie has also helped me see the bigger picture and create stepping stones towards it, giving me real confidence in my next steps."
PA, Emergency Care Assistant
"Coaching has been incredibly useful. The right support at the right time.
I feel so much better and have a far better understanding of myself than I ever did before. I’m no longer dreading Mondays on a Sunday."
